If you and your child have already played with the default game that the Fisher Price Smart Cycle brings included in the box, you might be asking yourself, what else is there? There are plenty of other games and many of them far superior to the default one. Which one you choose depends on your and your child's preference.
First of all, we have everybody's favorite explorer, Dora. If you don't know the character, Dora basically appeals to kids with a sense of adventure and exploration, and also kids who are more laid-back and relaxed when they watch their cartoons. Dora's Smart Cycle game is great because it features plenty of educational twists (The "Dora the Explorer" brand as a whole is an educational cartoon style brand), like for example, one game the child can play is to ride around on his bike hitting letters of the alphabet. Another is to instead of hitting letters, the kids can hit numbers, and he has to hit them in order, so it teaches counting as well as letter and number recognition.
Another great little cartridge you can get is the zany crazy Sponge Bob game! Sponge Bob is the king of silly goofiness, and has great appeal to pretty much every kid (and even some adults!), but especially those kids who really like to laugh, point, gasp and comment at the TV when they watch their cartoons. Sponge Bob's Smart Cycle game is filled with funny colorful things that are very attractive to children, and features prominently shape recognition, reflexes, as well as the letter and counting games that Dora has.
Finally, no collection of children's video games would be complete without an appearance by everyone's favorite, Elmo! This little red Sesame street monster is by far the all-time favorite among younger kids. Needless to say, Elmo's game features appearances by many of the Sesame Street characters. And of course Sesame Street is the premier source for letter and number learning, so they have plenty of that as well. Elmo's game is probably the one you want to go with is your child is on the younger side.
Which game you choose is up to you; all three are great places to start. There are plenty of games beyond these, too, so you have plenty of chance to expand your library even after you have all three.
